Ramadanman's self titled doublepack is his first of 2010 and only his second for his Hessle Audio imprint. Coming in quick succession after Pangaea's tremendous double EP and the smoking James Blake record it marks a maturity in the label, a confirmation of their status beyond purveyors of strictly dancefloor anthems. Ram's offers six tracks showing the breadth of his tastes and abilities, ranging from hardcore/jungle twisters - the emotive rush of 'Don't Change For Me' and the rugged 'A Couple More Years' - to craftily concatenated experimentalism on 'Bleeper' and a pair of fluidly futuristic riddims in the style of Untold on 'No Swing' and 'Tumble'.
